most people say there not mature but in some situations they are wat about those kids my sis is 16 she has a job gose to school and has a kid beat that!

Having sex or the act of giving birth is not a tribute to maturity...hamsters, mice and roaches have sex, that does not indicate any great insight or maturity. A thirteen year old, any way you slice it, is a child; which is a good thing. The world is full of things to do and discover. I have talked to people who were married at early ages and without exception; none of them were happy. Kids think it is cool to have babies, until they notice their friends no longer want them to hang out with them.Have fun, lighten up. You will have plenty of time later to get involved in sex.

Just Because SOME people get Married at 13, doesn't make it RIGHT! A lot of people Murder Others at 13, It doesn't make it Right!!! At 13 your still a child, take the time to have fun as a "KID"... Life is short...As you will soon see.. Sex should only be between a Husband & Wife. As this is God's plan. Why ruin your life by having a baby when your just a Kid Yourself. Let alone the "DEADLY" Diseases.one can get, that will cripple and Kill you! Slow down, just ahve fun, say No to Sex & Drugs, get an Education, so you don't have to work for minimum wages in poverty.Get a Carreer going first.

Yes, I think it is inappropriate for a 13 year old to have sex, at that age you are not ready to handle the emotions that come along with sex, let alone the possibility of bringing an innocent child into this world, and I realize that their are some responsible 16 year old parents out there, the majority of 16 yar olds are not ready for that kind of responsibility, at 16 how many people do you know that are emotionally ready to be a parent and financially stable enough to provide for that child without the help of their parents, grandparents or the government?

Its a question about puberty... In cooler regions the age a female attains puberty is around 18 - 25, in hot regions she attains at the age of 13 - 16. It can be based on that, but since the western civilization are the dominant one and think that they are right for everything they believe in, (Europe is a cool place) so they emphasise the age of the Asian or African to be inappropriate.

not everyone thinks its inappropriate, since as you said some people get married at this age...
however, alot of people think it IS inappropriate... and it's probably to do with not wanting kids to have to grow up so fast.. today kids are exposed to adult things at younger ages
13 year olds dont have fully developed adult brains yet, specifically the lobes dealing with logic and reasoning... if 13 year olds arent capable of the same things that adults are, should they really be able to make all the same decisions?

If we promote marriages among people this young we are robbing them of an opportunity to be educated and contribute to society. We have burdened them with babies, debt, and possibly abandonment...They would never get ahead, never have adequate health care, etc...Not only do a majority of these families become dependent on the states, but these young people are raising children while they are still children themselves.

At 13 is highly recommended to it a lot of rice before you can sex and I think need a lot of practice to be enough. Lost your soul.

if you want to have sex it's better to get married and after that you can .It's not normal to have sex and not being married even if that happens ( a lot) for that there are women, men, children that suffer in the entire world, because of the lust, of the need of sex out of marriage.

some ppl from like 40 or 50 years ago would say tht..ur body is not prepared and u're not mature enogh..there's something call STD
