My husband cooks the meals and also does the shopping. We have been married 49 years. We switched rolls when he retired. He is a great cook. He gets warm and fussy when I thank him and compliment him. When I did the cooking he seemed to forget to thank me and pay a compliment. I'm no fool, the more I make a big deal the more he wants to cook to perfection.
Take note and compliment the cook and they will love to cook for you.
