I would like to view my dvr recorded shows on television in my exercise room?

I am aware that Tivo provides this in Series 2, but I do not have a series 2. I am also aware of things like Sling that let me view tv anywhere by place shifting. I want a simple solution to let me view a recorded show on one DVR on another television within the same house.

Easy

Buy two things
1. Wireless video receiver and transmitter package
2. Infrared remote extender pack

Connect the tranmitter to DVR, then connect reciever to other TV.
That part is done. Its all ready. You can control it, but will have to be in room. NO settings or anything.

Put one remote extender in front of DVR box where it recieves the remote control signal. Put other remote extender in front of the other TV. Again no settings or adjustments to worry about.


Now just control the DVR by aiming your remote to the extender in front of tv in exercise room.

If your DVR doesn't have multiple output jacks then you may have to buy a splitter. All of the products listed can be purchased at the shack.
