It's a new girl at my college I call "cigarette girl" because everytime I see her she's smoking a cigarette. Anyway I think she's very beautiful. I walked past her twice the other day and both times she looked back and give me a smile when I smiled at her. I seen her one time with this guy and he had his arm around her. I have no idea if it's her boyfriend or not. Last year I was in a similar situation with a girl I didn't who would smile at me. Although in the end after I started talking with her I ended up in the "friendzone". Now we're not even really talking any more. I what should I say to her without coming off has a pervert or without ending up in the friendzone like the last girl because I didn't tell her how I felt in the beginning

Simple, Go to her and speak up. Be friendly and honest. Most importantly, have that 'friendship' mindset before approaching her. Because it tends to work out differently with girls = If you come on to her seeking a date, u might end up dissapointed in the friendship zone big time, so be confident and cordial, and go with the flow ;)
good luck

Just go up and start with hi. Make a little bit of small talk, like about classes, the school, people, etc. See how she reacts to you. You should be able to tell pretty quickly if she is interested in talking with you. Don't be too quick to judge, she may be shy. And why don't you just start out thinking about her as just a friend. That may be all either of you are interested in after you get to know each other. You'll never know how it will turn out if you don't try. Might end up being the love of your life or your best friend. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

You seem like a nice guy.. a nice guy in a dating world pretty much translates to a wussbag. no offense, just the truth.

You should not worry about telling her how you feel. Instead, you should be building attraction. Be her friend, make fun of her, tease her and be cocky at the same time. Stay away from logical conversation.

Hope that helps, if you like what i've said or feel it applies, feel free to go in my profile and read what advice i've given to others. I'm just a lil tired of typing things over and over.

You end up in the "Friend Zone" because you arent direct enough. Girls like assertive men. If she has a boyfriend you need to leave that alone. Shyness can be crippling and make you seem weird if you let it hold you back. Sounds like that is exactly what you do.

Well, you have to tell the girl what you feel. Ask her if she already have a boyfriend. If the guy whose arms are aroung her is her boyfriend then, you can't do anything anymore.

Dude the only answer to that is in you. Talk to her, try and get her to laugh. If you fail you're no worse off than if you didn't try, on the other hand if you succeed...

i hate u all so much lol. well, u want my opinion? u'd do nothin wrong, just to talk to her. if things are goin good, casually ask bout a bf. girls are pretty forward with this sorta stuff. if it goes great, ask her out. go for it, dude.

It's better to be in the 'friendzone' then no zone at all.
