I have oily hair too and use to have bad danruff. I went to a dermatologist and they recommended a shampoo called NIzoral. It is rather expensive, like 12$ for a regular size bottle, but you only need to use it once in awhile. IT works GREAT!! It helps break down sebum oil, which stops flaking and can clog the follicle and kill the hair. As for thinning hair, I am not sure. I think that may be genetic, you could try rogaine.

Take care

It depends on what type of oil you use. Dandruff is due to improper maintenance of hair. In order to avoid dandruf, you can do the following once in a week. Take some country fully riped planten. Make a nice paste and apply the same on the head. Keep the same for about an hour on the head and then take bath. Ensure the head is cleaned fully after the bath. You should not use oil after taking bath. Apply the oil before taking bath and take bath after 5 minutes. After taking bath, ensure the hair is dried properly. You can also use hair oils produced by Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala. They have a lot of combination of oils which will i am sure help you.

Dandruff is believed to be caused by a fungus. As your hair is oily this fungus is thriving there. Your priority is to remove excess oil. Dandruff will come under control after that. There seems to be no connection between thinning hair and dandruff, unless you have scalp dermatitis or psoriasis. I suggest first control the oil.

Causes Of Dandruff

No precise cause of dandruff is yet known. Why men tend to get it more than women? Why teenagers are prone to dandruff? There are many questions about dandruff. Let us see how it forms. Our skin renews itself over a period of about 28 days. During this period, new cells form at the bottom of the skin and slowly travel upward and replace the old cells. The body sheds the old cells. This happens everyday with our skin. In dandruff, the speed at which the cells form and travel upward and replace cells increases. This increased shedding, mixed with skin oils shows as a white flaky powder and is called dandruff.

Many factors have been thought to cause dandruff. Stress, oily skin, unclean scalp, use of frequent chemical treatments, less use or over use of shampoos, etc. are said to cause dandruff. Now scientists think that a fungus called malassezia may be the cause of dandruff. This fungus colonizes the scalp in increasing number and thrives on the oil. When the body wants to get rid of this fungus, it forms dandruff. This fungus is said to thrive with humidity, oil, and sweat. There are many other factors such as stress that can multiply the production of this fungus.

first get some prenatal pills then go to your doctor he will recommend you a treatment
evaluate you stress level and share that with him as well he will consult with you to most convinent method of stress management also dont rule out a thing you can be suffering from a age brought disease if your doctor wont run tests find one who will and if there is something wrong consult a lawyer about your previous doctor
but first write a letter and sign it have a third party sign it and take it to him saying that he is refusing medical tests for a types of known diseases or infections that result in hair loss or that have the symptoms of hair loss
i can pretty much garrantee you he will run those tests and tell him you will have a second party review the results
hey when its your health think about those who love you and how it will effect them if you leave this earth because a doctor doesnt want to give the order and have more forms to approve which means reviewing so try your best and stick up for yourself

good luck sweety
