it really depends whether the girl is a) attracted to the guy b) dont mind being touched or c)expects that kind of intimacy on the first date. i think the best would be to hold hands, if she's ok with that you can hold her waist and move closer. Then you can whisper something in her ear and say " hey there's something on your chin" and try rubbing it off and after all this is she doesnt slap you....bravo! go to the next level...know what i mean??

it will totally freak me out if a guy touches me on my cheek but unless i already know him for a long while then its kinda fine.
