if christianity was left up to the people at yahoo answers the whole world would be atheists or satanics or maybe even muslim they are begining to make more sense than you and they seem more kind. i just pray for the people who dont know much about god and come here to get the religious questions answered. there is no need for name calling because you would just be proving my point like you did in my last question. i was treated with more kindness from atheists than my fellow christians. all im asking is stop making the christain religion look bad by you ignorant comments. (and no im not calling you names or judging you but its completely obvious that you dont know what your talking about) so will you please stop until you know what you talking about? and please stop trying to convert people who dont want to be converted. spreading the word of god is one thing and thats what we are suppose to do but trying to force our religion on people who are obviosly not interested is just annoying

You need to post a question, first of all. Do the right thing by abiding to the rules and the regulations of this site. If you were a christian, you would know that God does not take criticism of others lightly. You called Christians names and you judged them with false statements. You also lied. You are not a Godly representative nor a believer of God but a demonic tool used by Satan and now you want to correct it by still ridiculing believers with nonsense. No one is trying to convert! Atheists like yourself put themselves in a uncomfortable position by being on this site therefore the truth will be told that unbelieving sinners and believing sinners will go to Hell. If people like yourself are not interested in being converted,Go Somewhere Else! I will continue to speak out! Who cares about what u think! You need to repent. You need professional help and much needed prayer. Praying 4 ya!

Good job Christianity is not left to those on Yahoo!Answers although I must say that amongst the noise there are those that know their stuff.
Forget about those other, just show the Lords love and care in this Yahoo!Answers when you participate.
As for the claim that Christian on this, is trying to convert those that are obviously not interested or those who feel that Christians are forcing them into a religion. It is everyones choice to choose what they want to see here. There is no default which sends everyone into the Religion and Spiritualist section of Yahoo!Answers. They all chose to read and reply as they want to. Do you think this would stand-up in court - "But I didn't want to go the live sex site. It was just there."

I know God has expectations of us, but how are you helping by posting this? Yes you were calling us ignorant, but I don't take it into offense. I do need to learn tons more from the Bible. I'm sorry you feel this way about Christians. If everything Christians said was perfect everyone would convert. People can be just as caring with any religion because we were made from His image. Compassion should be spread not shot down by your aimless comments.

I thought this was a place to have beautiful discussions about belief and why we believe the way we do. To see if others had something to share that might make us see some thing we didn't before we asked. I understand what you mean some times being here is like being attacked, when you ask a question. However, the savior himself said, true believers and those seeking the truth would be persecuted. Yes, it still hurts but that's what sets aside from the animal kingdom, we have emotions that we want to verbalize.

I was raised in a Christian home and went to church regularly...etc. I am questioning the entire aspect of religion and how or if it applies to the concept of faith in God and Jesus and the teaching's of the Bible.
I don't have your answers. I don't even have my answers to the spiritual challenge that I am facing. I do know that I have found much peace/love/information on this Yahoo Q&A. I don't consider the people on the computer to be the "driving force" behind my decisions. My real life, caused me to turn my back on Christianity....yahoo gave me an opportunity to ask again. I was repeatedly bombarded with threats of hell and I was repeatedly insulted by those who claimed to believe in Jesus as their Saviour. I choose to read and re-read the New Testament. I see your dilemma. Christianity may be the right choice for you, but you and only you can make that decision.

well said again! and i don't see a problem with grammar and spelling mistakes. that doesn't make you a lousier person, or a not so true christian. if you are a christian, you believe in your god, you treat others with respect, i will definately respect you and your religion too.
i believe, whatever your religion is, don't put yourself so high up there and think of everyone esle who have a different religion as you, as low lifes.
n i totally agree with you, don't make others from the same religion as you look bad, cause of the things you say and do. its like suicide bombers making the whole islam looks bad because they twisted islam into something that is not like what they are doing at all.
i'm not a christian, but i gave a thumbs up for this one 'Just ask yourself, "What would Jesus do?" He will show you the way.'
i'm an atheist, but i gave a thumbs down for this, 'Maybe because going atheist is the way to go... '
some things are clear cut like the two examples above.

You are right that people like me will never really take christianity seriously because there is so much BS that is utterly ridiculous fear based doctrine and being spouted as a legitimate spiritual path, and has been happening historically long enough to pretty much discredit whatever righteousness may have been there originally (for me)
Although Jesus was cool! as far as I can tell
and many christians are ver genuine human beings
I dont think you have to worry though because the human heart and soul has wisdom in about a million ways that reveals itself to the sincere
People will not give up on seeking spiritual expression/communion, not for long. It is a human need
It may change forms though! It may need to
War is not a very celebratory way to honor God
neither is destroying your own habitat

Well, that is a very honest thing you are doing asking people not to bash others. But there needs to be a balance to everything. i am not trying to offend you. I am neither Christian nor atheist. But all of them are bashed on...which in my opinion is unfortunate. How about everyone just be spiritual instead of religious. This will give people the freedom of belief without a category to be put in, or to fight over for that matter. It will also free people of the stereotypes that go with each of the religions. it would free people from the walls of spirituality that hold them back. Good luck on your personal spiritual journey in this life.

You should not allow anyone to make you get scared. You are a Christian, who has been slighted to the point of your feeling you must post back, and I respect that, regardless of your religion. You basically summed up all you need to remember, and that is God is All loving-With God, all things are possible, and as a fellow Christian, I too believe in never trying to push ones religious beliefs on anyone else, I do however agree that God does make it clear in more ways than people even realize that He is a Loving God, and DOES indeed, in my spiritual beliefs want me and my fellow Christians to try and spread our word referring to God-And that simply means, IF we can, and have the opportunity without harrassing, or annoying, or of the such, to say the words to others that God is Loving. I love the scriptured part where our Lord and Savior states.......(Pardon, this is not word for word,)"Try to keep the peace to the best of your ability. Do not harm these little ones (referring to children), For Vengeneance is Mine Sayeth the LORD (He is referring to people that abuse children, and he is firstly telling us to keep the peace the best we can, and not provoke our children, nor harm them, and to remember that Justice is in our hands (or as I believe: still in the hand of the Prince Of Lies, to the majority of cases, regardless of the crime),BUT VENGEANCE IS MINE sayeth the Lord.-I know, where did child-abuse come up in the question? It didn't, but I just wanted to show some who do not know these scriptured words, because they basically say in the beginning: Keep the peace EVERYBODY, TO THE BEST ABILITY THAT YOU CAN (It is not up to me to remark on the outcome of those that do not keep the peace SPIRITUALLY), humanitarly, I will say: If we all kept the peace, and treated one another JUST EXACTLY AS WE WANTED TO BE TREATED BACK, there would not be such arrogance in regards to of all things; "Religion".

Religion sends people to Hell. Only a personnel relationship with Jesus Christ is what each of us need. We have chosen to live without God guiding our lives. We make fools out of ourselves when we say we are Christians, and we are not living a life separate unto God. We as Christians shoot our own people, and we condemn our own. We need to stop judging, and start praying for each other. We as Christians are sending more people to Hell with our lives. If people look at us and see us sinning, then why would anyone else want to be a Christian.
May God bless you.
