If you had the sense to ask a coherent question, maybe you would get a straight answer.

(1) "Dope" is another way of saying "cool" - so I assume you're not from North America, or you wouldn't have engaged in this little humorous faux pas.

(2) http://globalsecurity.org is a clearinghouse for information. It is not something along the lines of "The Free Republic" or some other such shill for the Bush Administration.

(3) Russia is a corrupt bureaucratic miasma overrun by criminal gangs with a fifth of the defense budget of the United States that can't even fight the war in Chechnya properly - even with unrestricted Rules of Engagement. Superpower? Right. Dream on.

(4) Iran and North Korea are regional powers solely because they have the capacity to threaten key shipping routes, or market economies in neighboring countries. One has chronic unemployment, the other has famine. One has a medieval justice system, the other incarcerates tens of thousands in gulags. Both are completely cut off from participation in the global economy as full partners. "Big Players" indeed.

(5) You can either complain about globalsecurity.org, or you can complain about the Yanks and Israelis - you do both badly. So badly in fact that reading your infantile rave and rant was a chore unto itself. The only things that made sense in your writings are the ellipses.

(6) Everyone with half a brain and a quarter of a testicle thinks it is de rigeur to state that "the Americans are in for a fall". You're no different. You could have made yourself convincing by offering empirical evidence, but instead you just prattle garbage. Every empire falls. That's no surprise. If you're waiting for the demise of the United States anytime soon, you're in for a long, long wait. Go read Paul Kennedy and take a number.

Just a biased American opinion:

Believe it or not, Americans know the score. What you see as weakness is only patience. Be aware what appears as division among our ranks is the way we go about our business in this country. We question everything, especially authority. However, take your best shot at denting us and be assured that there will be unity. You have only seen the tip of the iceberg as to what the people of this country are capable of.
China a threat? They need us and are moving towards capitalism. Why would they harm their biggest customer?
North Korea is living in the stone age, not a threat. A minor player with a despot in charge.
Iran is preparing to get crushed with their noise of wiping Israel off the map and pursuing nuclear weapons.
The American economy is adjusting to bringing it into line with the world economy. We are still the most productive people in the world.
If the mid-east wants peace then they need to stop the cowardly attacks that they have been handing out for the past 60 years.
I don't know of "globalsecurity.org" but suspect that it has it's bias's like every other site on the web.

Well can't be helped really - the US has the most competent military that can operate on a global basis, singly or in tandem with its allies. No other country has demonstrated an ability on the same scale as the US.
With regards to the information on other countries there is a strong bias on globalsecurity.org towards countries that have strong leanings in favour of the US inspite of the fact that they stand for everything opposite that the US stands for.
So I'll say its BS.

Umm, when the Russians can afford to produce their stuff, when the Chinese can come up with an original design that isn't stolen from the US or Russia, when N Korea figures out that communism sux, when Iran catches up to the 21st century and can make a weapon on their own, then they can assume that they may be able to compete with the US.

By then we'll just be making and using better stuff. So they'll still be behind

I think about alot of stuff.

American answers? What North American, South American, Latin American answers?...so you don't like anything with the word America in it....dude...if you can't handle american answers...then don't post questions that would make an american mad...just a word of advice, or post in an international room. *smirk

Noth Korea will never be able to be a super power...they can't even feed their people. Every one else does. China scares me, and Russia doesn't. I do think we have awesome stuff...but we aren't losing our advantage...were not that retarded.

Israeli doesn't equal American.

If the site you speak of "instantly loses credibility" what's the point of your question?
