Jesus did some super natural stuff... He turned water into wine, he fed 5,000 people with just five loaves of bread and two fish, he walked on the water, he brought people back to life, he gave sight to the blind, he healed the lame, he even died and came back to life!... Jesus was way cool. He saved us all

But the question remains: If Jesus was always drinking wine, why do baptists (and various other sects) not permit the consumption of alchohol?

Jesus was a role model and an exemple of virtues so that's why there were so many followers and dissiples that gathered around him. I guess that in today's world, he would be perceived as a super hero but he was very humble and to be a super hero wouldn't have been part of his way even today. Yes for his time he was very cool as you say! To put it in today's words. He was humiliated and ridiculed but his faith never failed! That's the heritage He left us along with his teachings.

The Humbled and Exalted Christ 5 enable this ideas be in you which of them became also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being interior this way of God, did not evaluate it robbery to be equivalent with God, 7 yet made Himself of no popularity, taking this way of a bond servant, and coming contained in the likeness of fellows. 8 And being latest in visual charm as a guy, He humbled Himself and grew to develop into obedient to the point of lack of existence, even the shortcoming of existence of the flow. 9 hence God also has noticeably exalted Him and given Him the call it really is above each call, 10 that on the call of Jesus each knee could bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those less than the earth, 11 and that each tongue could confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the honour of God the daddy. -Philippians 2

no he wasn't! He was a Prophet a Allah (swt) fearing man whom worship the one and only Allah swt and he went teaching those who had little of no knowledge of faith and his method of teaching was so differnt only because he used parable please believe me when i tell you all that you have spoke of him doing are are parables and many dont understand this and they take it literally! and this is where the Christian faith fails for lack of knowledge by the member and followers of Christ!
