It's not so much that age matters, it's more that maturity matters. Age is generally an indicator of maturity. I do believe in love, but I think it's a choice not a feeling. So in a sense yes anything can be overcome when it comes to love, you can choose love beyond age or whatever hindrances you have in mind. However if wisdom is showing you that the love you're embarking on is foolish it might be very wise to give it more thought. Romantic feelings ebb and flow, and during the low points where those feelings aren't there you're going to need a basis for a relationship that super cedes mere feelings, if that's not there you will most likely feel as though you've made a mistake, possibly grow to resent the other person, and possibly be looking for the quickest exit. I'm not saying that all love is, is an intellectual exercise, feelings are extremely important. But if all you have is the one and not the other, you're headed for very rocky terrain.

I don't think it does at all. I personally like older guys. I'm 18 and the guy that I am talking to now is 22, not much of a difference, but, still, no matter what the age difference is, I personally don't think it matters. If it really is love, true love, then i believe that it can overcome anything.
Whether you're a Christian or not, here is a bit of encouragement from the Bible in the love department :
I Corinthians 13: 4-7
"Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things."
Hope that helped!

Yes I believe in Love.
It's interesting that you ask if age matters. I don't think age matters at all, my experience and my friends' experience dictates this. I was just thinking about this the other day as a matter of fact. Let me explain. One of my best friends (a guy, 23) is dating a woman that is 28. They love each other intensely. With another best friend of mine, (another guy, 25) he is dating a woman that is 35. And yet another friend of mine (a girl this time, 24) just got married with her now 41 year old husband. As for me, I'm 24 and my girlfriend is 18. To make it tougher, I am in Colorado and she is in Beijing, China.
I think when a couple truly loves one another, age may make a difference, but for the most part hardly matters. Except when it crosses legal boundaries. Than we're on another topic.
Can you really overcome everything when it comes to love? I think so, only if you want it to.
Good luck :D

Age doesnt matter at all really. I mean i really hate it when people just say they are too young or old for you to be in love with them. Yeah well i mean, you dont have to just stay with the group of people who are about your age. Yeah and you can overcome anything when it comes to love.

obviously you could 'fall in love' at 13, yet no matter if it really is actual 'Love' or is going through another call....! How are you to understand once you've not something, no different similar feeling to degree it hostile to? further to which, youngsters are 'notorious' about replacing their minds ~ frequently, and exceptionally the girls of the type ...the type of situations they replace their friends, brilliant friends, their trend urges, phones, ring tones and 'stuff'. seem how Mums n Dads could be their maximum major human beings of their lives, and then the biggest source of embarrassment. 13 is purely 10 years more effective than the age of three. Wait, there are extra years and 'stuff' to go back yet. Take care. Sash.

age shouldn't matter if two people are really in love. but if there's to big of a difference in their ages,socializing(w/ the different age groups)tends to be difficult. just make sure you know what's ahead so you can face things together and overcome.

Age does matter sometimes. A 13 years old shouldn't go out with a 17 years old for exemple..
