I was wondering who else out there likes to sing? I'm an alto, which part do you sing?

I'm also an Alto. I sing in a Praise team at my church and I also sing Solos. For Christmas I join the Choir and I just love to hear all the different sounds. Harmony is so beautiful.

I used to be in choir. But now, as I'm in high school, I chose band instead. I was a soprano/alto, but I still sing in the musicals. Last year I was Jojo in Seussical the Musical. It was a blast! I sing all the time, by myself, without a choir.

I sang in choir all through out high school. I had a very hard time fitting into any of the cliques around campus, yet choir became my home away from home. I found a place to be accepted and appreciated. My choir director became a second mother to be, and my choir friends were always around, to laugh with, share with, cry with, and too, of course, sing with.
I'm a second soprano with dreams of being a first. Though I don't sing in a choir any more, and often find that I miss it, I've never stopped singing.

Altos rock!
Not only do we have more of a vocal range, we generally carry the melody for those screechy "sopranos". I love to sing, and one of my favorite songs to sing in a choir is "O Holy Night". A beautiful piece.

When I still was in school I was in choir
7th grade I was an 2nd Soprano.
8th grade I was an Alto.
