Yes, what I found is that cleaning it with Bon Ami cleaner (similar to a Comet container but doesn't scratch) and then wiping it down with Windex gives a great shine. It reminds me of a black car, nothing prettier than a black car when its clean, dingy when its dirty.

If you have soft water that helps a lot.

Used to have a black bathroom sink. Not the easiest to keep clean with the toothpaste and hard water but when it was clean...it was nice. We used the black as part of the color scheme in the bathroom by buying black towels, cup and toothbrush holder and had a black and white checkered floor. It was kind of neat.

i've been with a white kitchen sink for the last year. that's just as bad. stains easily....thank goodness for cleaner with bleach.

Get you a white one to go with it. That will equal everything out and keep the NAACP off your back.

Just paint it and when you get unhappy with it just paint it again.
