Why do we allow others to run our lives?
When we get upset with someone else, is it their fault or mine?
Do I have the right to not get upset?
Do I have the right to forgive them, no matter the infraction?
Do I have the right to not judge anyone, and not have anyone judge me?
When I relize that I make up the rules in my life, including how I will feel about others actions, will I be less depressed?

If I understand what you are saying correctly, It's something I've had a problem with my whole life. I've done a lot of things I didn't want to do to keep from hurting someone's feelings, or to keep someone else happy. And by doing that, I made myself miserable. you need to show your feelings and take control of your life. That's the way to peace. And I don't know if you are a christian or not, and I don't want to offend you, but I am a christian, and that has given me peace beyond understanding.

If you see a grown man raping a young girl, do you have the right to not judge him, forgive him, and not get up set?

No, you don't. You have the duty to intervene and stop him.

You need to open yourself. You need to move out of yourself. Quit constricting your mental activity inward and spread it outward. Open up.

This is hard to explain exactly but please try it. It will make you feel better and realize the loving relationship to the world you are capable of.
