personally, i think if people can't use there own judgment to tell right from wrong, and they need a book thats like 2000 years old, then it just shows what puppets people are. come on people. THINK FOR YOURSELF!!!

There are so many different standards all over the world. In some countries cannabolism is norm, stoning people still exists, killing is justified e.g. a cheating wive in an Islam state can be killed etc.. The world can be so confused that wrong things can become right and vice versa.
So where is the standard? The Bible.

There are things that are not listed in the Bible - in Ephesians it actually says to devine what is right and wrong for yourself -- beyond the obvious not-murder, etc.
Is there a verse about internet-based child porn? not strictly, but you know that it is the sort of thing that is not good for anyone involved and makes society sicker.
That one we can work out ourselves.
Another thing to take into consideration - is that not everyone is being dealt with by God over the same sins... some refuse to watch tv because they feel its not right for them... others still watch horror movies... on this sort of thing, where the laws are kinda fuzzy, we are told to listen to our own consciousness rather then take on the laws made up by others.
So to me, the bible has a good outline of what is unacceptable or what might cause you harm - beyond that, God will let you know if he wants you to, say, give up smoking or lose weight or whatever.
