look through magazines, on the internet, or anywhere you can find pictures of people! Find a hairstyle you like, then go to a haircutting place and show them the picture. Then they can just go off of that hairstyle and soon you will love your new hair!

I also wanted a new hair style and to look for ideas I went to wig web sites. they have all sorts of styles and I printed out the ones I liked and brought them to the salon and we picked what would work best for my hair and face.

i have the same problem..except im waiting for my hair to grow a little longer so that when i cut and donate my hair it wont go above my shoulders.
Last time i cut it above my shoulders( i donated 12 inches) and it was such a big transition...
I wouldnt cut ur hair too short..u should probably get sharp angles but below the shoulders
AND THINK about donating ur hair PLZ!!

Cut it to shoulder length, part it on the side, side-sweep your bangs. It'll look really cute. I know someone with that same problem (too-long hair) and they did just that and it's a whole new them
