Im not sure but i think the sitcom was "facts of life" or "differant strokes". He would come out once in a while but i could be wrong.

There was a boy in the 80s that was burned alive by his father, here in Southern California, but he wasn't a child star or anything. Just an average kid caught between a sick a$$ father and his mother.

I haven't seen him on TV in years.
