The bible speaks strongly about doing Gods Will and not to follow the doctrine (teaching) of man. It is made clear what Laws are in play and what Laws are nailed to the cross. it is made clear that the Lord is coming back to shed blood not to make peace. Gods Word does not contradict itself, the Lord is perfect in everyway. It is we people who are inperfect and make it hard on ourselves buy not excepting what the Word of God Says. He has 10 Commandments not 10 suggestions. He said that no one should change his Words and Man has done just that. Even when it comes to discplining our children. I know, through studies that the Lord has Laws and statutes that we must follow. Even if you yourself think it is untrue. The book is there find out for your self.
I am not perfect, I do know that even I have a law in my home, I have a law that I must follow at work and even man has Laws. What would make you think the the Perfect Holy God of Israel's Law is null and void. u r wrong.

I do try to follow the ten commandments. But we are all human, and thus we sin. that is why we have God's Holy Son. So we can be forgiven. I obey man's laws as long as it does not go against God's laws. He comes first! Everyone needs laws to go by, even man made laws. Just make sure that they don't go against God's laws.

Thank you for your question. I agree with you. Yes, do God's will, but you do have to follow man's law as well as long as it does not go against God's law.
God made the Ten Commandments (not suggestions) out of love and if everyone followed it, there would be no murder, no adultery, no materialism and vanity, no stealing, there would be virtually no crime. I don't see how it is hard for people to understand that the Ten Commandments are LOVE, and they are not to punish nor condemn us to a life or boredom and slavery.
God is Love. God gave us those commandments out of love. He gave them to us to help us to live a better life.
If you think about it, it's an amazing thing......definately not a hinderance in life!

You make some good points - but Jesus came to fulfill the law - we are not bound by the 10 commandments - if we were - no one could go to heaven - because no one is perfect. In other words - you cannot earn your way into Heaven.

Follow the teaching of Jesus - He is our only Savior.

Good comments!!!

And he DEMANDS that we worship him, or else?
it sounds like he got carried away with the job description and became a power crazy, bloodthirsty monster.
Time for him to step aside, I think.
