Take care. At least in your own country you will have some assurance of quality, standard of care, and sterilisation protocols. If something is not to your liking and needs fixing, will you go back to Mexico for more visits or will you perhaps have to see a local dentist to have it fixed (at greater cost?). Here in Australia we have a similar situation where patients travel to Singapore or Philippines on such holidays. I have mostly seen the results of bad work, and it's not pretty. There is a significant risk which you must think about.
Even in your home country there will be good and bad dentists. As always, it is best to ask friends, relatives and workmates for recommendations of their dentists and experiences. And if you're going to expend some significant amount of money on your teeth, get second or even third opinions.

There is a reason why dental care is cheaper in Mexico. Dont risk your life there are many, many dentists who will work with you so that care is more affordable. Try a dental school if you have one in your area. Going to another country for care has many risks and there is no recourse if something happens.

There are really cheap dentist you just have to call around and get quotes for teeth extractions. I live in LA and there are many dentists in the area who extract teeth for $100. Personally I have not gone through the process but I personally know two people who just went through this process. If going to Mexico for dental work do your homework, and definitely have someone go with you, they might put you to sleep and do unthinkable things to you during your most vulnerable time.

You might be able to save money by having your teeth fixed in Mexico BUT! to fix any mistakes made may be far more expensive. My father -n- law went to Mexico to have his teeth cleaned and when it was all over he had two broken teeth.
I am not saying this will happen to you but you never know.
I would never go to Mexico for any medical or dental needs.

Good news: you can save lots of money by having your teeth fixed in Mexico.
Bad news: will it be quality care or substandard? are sterilization protocols strictly observed? does the goverment oversee standards of care? Maybe, maybe not. It's a crap-shoot.
Take the risk, they are your teeth. If it turns out bad, we'll be here to correct their mistakes.

I'm not sure. It depends on what you are planning on getting done. I know that you can save about 3,000 dollars on dentures. But besides on that I have no idea!

Why in the world would you go to Mexico? They say not to drink the water there, yet you are going to let someone jack your teeth around?!
