cause there's this guy i like ,as in, i really like, i like thinking of him a lot. but there's the problem that i think he's ugly and fat. I don't even know why I like him a lot. It's kinda wierd, you know? Like, can you like someone emotionally but not physically?

there are people around you, whom you correlate as nice human beings and always want their company. they may look ugly but from ur heart, u know they are sweet.
here a relationship builds which is platonic and it always remains that way.......... (depends on you).

Sure, I have lots of friends (male and female) that I've met playing tennis & they are really terrific people that I enjoy seeing any time I happen to run into them. I'm not really physically attracted to any of them but I consider them to be good friends & I like them a great deal.

That's very much possible. It hasn't happened to me, but look @ Laura and Steve from "Family Matters." I know it's a ficticious show, but Laura was attracted to Steve who was a geek, but she fell in love w/ him. Personality and respect count the most. And as they say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

Yes you are experiencing attraction. The reason you feel that's way is of course not because if his looks, but the way you feel around that person. What really is attracting you is his personalty. Its something out of your control..

i think that you can, but it might be tough in some ways to form a dating relationship out of that. maybe you will find yourself being physically attracted to him at some point in the future.

you obviously like this guy for his personality and thats a good thing. I think in time if you give him a chance it wont matter what he looks like. Most gourgous guys have no personality anyway.So you go for it girl

physical attraction matters for some people. but to me it doesn't matter. if that person cares bout me and loves me and treats me good, it ok with me.
