I thought I wanted bangs and had them cut BUT they were cut bluntly right above my eyebrows (the rest of my hair is about armpit length) and I HATE them. I can't do anything. I feel like a muppet, and I can't even sweep them to the side because they're too short and it makes it look like I've got a comb-over.
I'm standing in a wedding this weekend and I don't want to mess up my cousin's wedding photos with this horrible hair. ANY advice would help--although I'm very nervous about going to a hair-dresser for any touch-ups---I don't want them any shorter cuz it will just take that much longer to grow out. My hair is wavy--I can make it curly or straight, but it's fairly fine and not full of volume. ALSO, I have glasses, which makes it all look even weirder. Pictures, ideas, anything will help! Thanks!

extentions just around your bang area might help. get some a bit longer with some waves and put your hair up for the big day.
why can't stylists just tell you 'sorry, i don't know how to do that, but i can get a stylist who does so she/he can teach me how. would that be o.k. with you?' ?
ARRGH!!!

what ever you do do NOT cut them shorter or off... wearing your hair curly with the bangs would look so cute, and straight hair would look good too... you have to go with it, don't try to hide them, because it will just point out that you hate it. Also, you should deffinitely angle your hair, and maybe put some layers in, after a white when they grow you will be abel to side swipe them, but for now rock it ;o)

Oh man...Bad haircuts are absolutely horrible. I have sideswept bangs (need a touch up!) and it took a long time to find a good hairdresser that cuts bangs well.
Anyway, try pinning them up. You can also try pinning them "under" your hair to both sides. It's a little hard to explain without a photo. Also try a headband. My friend had her bangs cut, and she hated it. She always wore a headband and it looked really nice.
Good luck!

you could try the new style where you take the top front section of hair (above your forehead, from eyebrow to eyebrow), comb it straight back, and clip it to the rest of your hair. sorry, i can't find a picture of it, but hopefully you know what i'm talking about! sorry, hope my advice helped.

carry out a little area bangs and doubtless some layers and shrink it alittle shorter. Shorter hair is often lots much less perplexing to shelter. My hair has been short consistently. Mine is shorter interior the back and little longer interior the front. and hangs little off my shoulder. It purely takes me like 10 to fifteen minutes to do m hair.

You might want to clip them back in some way that they look good to you. Either use bobby pins or somethig that isn't too noticeable. Try it.

why not try wearing your hair in a pompador (spelling?) or a clip in hair extension to make the bags longer or wearing your hair wavy
