In the case I know of, the burglars were some neighborhood kids who were friends with the victim. They banged loudly on the door to make sure the victim wasn't home before breaking in and stealing the playstation. (The upstairs neighbors bore witness.)

My border collie kept my existence. no matter if that's not the heroic tale each body is going to anticipate. i changed into in basic terms dealing with an fairly difficult time in my existence, and emotions of isolation were attending to the biggest aspect between all different issues. Then I said the little kit of golden fur, and realized that something relied on me. That I wasn't thoroughly valueless. in view that he has grown up, we've shared a deep emotional connection. each and anytime i'm in a unmarried of my down moods, he's there both to convenience me or to assist take my concepts off issues. also, they have kept the exterior sparkling of squirrels and rabbits (which have a foul habit of ingesting pumpkin roots and killing the flora), and continually alert us even as someones in the backyard. And very couple of minutes in the past my beagle went after a chum that changed into pretending to "attack' me even as i changed into typing this haha

it's not a stupid question. some people break in by ringing the doorbell pretending to sell something or in need of something from the homeowners, and when they open the door, they go in and tie them up or whatever they do when breaking in. There was a case that i heard where 2 people did that and they put boiled water on the tied up people.

No I have not, but at the clothing shop where I used to work we had one guy that constantly did "grab and runs" - that is when there is nobody at the door looking he would crawl in and empty the front rail... then run... It was Christmas 2004 - The shop was packed and this guy ran inside, threw his hands up in the air and shouted: Not today ladies! Merry Christmas! We had such a fright, but then had to laugh at his gesture of "Good will" ! :-)

YES....They knock and when you answer, they attack you to get in. Always keep doors locked and always look before you open.

That's not uncommon, it's like rocking a car to see if an alarm goes off.

thats not strange at all... infact it seems as if it would be a logical thing to do, to check if anybody is home before trying to break in...
