Honey, please....it isn't "normal" to have a number in mind at all! You should engage in that type of intimacy because you care about someone, not for experience or because you are lonely. I know it is hard to believe now, but at 19...you are still SO YOUNG! Your goals and your outlook on life will change so very much in the next 5-7 years that getting married at your age will prove to be very difficult, though not completely doomed to fail, I am just saying almost anyone can remember thinking they were with the man they would marry at 19 and I would bet most didn't and found their true love later in life, becoming thankful they didn't marry the one they had once thought would answer all prayers!

At 19 years I would say just the one you plan to marry. There is a huge difference between sex and making love. Having sex is just a lustful action whereas making love is a wonderful experience in which you grow together. To wait for the guy you will eventually marry is the most special, exciting thing possible, and what better gift could you ever give to the love of your life ?

There is no 'normal' I guess. Every number that u feel comfortable with should be fine.
Me personally prefers the waiting till married theory :-)

5 the virginity breaker, the experimental guy, your high school boyfriend ,the guy you hooked up with over the summer ,the guy you thought was the one you met in college.

depends... a number is just a number...there is no "one" correct number a person should obtain...just know that the past is the past and once your married focus on your husband if you dwell on the past it will bury your potential future
