My first concern is you!! This is a tuff time for your family. The best place I go to is, www.mayoclinic.com and the national institute of health [www.nih.gov] is also very good!! My best friend of 30 years survived not one but two aneurysms burst in her brain!! There was no more then a severe headache before they happened and this was back in 1989 and then again in 1997. Never underestimate the power of prayer!!!! And this week you and yours are added to my prayer list. Best wishes..stay strong for him--give him lots of xoxoxoxox

I can't give you a good doctor. I am sorry. It may be operable but in most cases aneurysms are inoperable and you just have to wait until it ruptures. I have known several people with the second who lived many more good years before it occured and when the time came they went quickly.
I hope that you will find a good doctor and that things will work out for you dad.

I'm sorry to hear that you are going through such a difficult time. The best advice I can give you is to have your father's doctor refer him to an experienced neurogist. Do internet searches and lots of prayer. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

You can find out how many procedures that has done, success rate, etc. The coiling procedure is widely done and successful.
