No new rules, same old ones, Laptops have to be taken out of their cases and ran thru the xray machine.
same with cell phones/.

I am not aware of any new rules for laptops or cell phones. I think the new rules related to bringing liquids on airplanes.

u cant take laptops on planes any more due to the laptops batteries catching fire but u are allowed to take mobiles on planes. but u can still take ur laptop on planes but u need to put them in where ur main luggage goes

it is ok to take em but u have to shut them while t/o and approach becuze of the deviation......and for laptops and spechially dell laptops cuz i've heared many about dell catches fire on aircrafts
