I think you meant "Long ans Strong"-orange text background

I've used it for for half a year now and it's great. I swim daily and my hair gets bleached to a very rich brown (used to be black). However, my hair never splits and it remains really shiny...until it gets shaved off

sorry, but it doesn't work. No product, no matter where you get it or how much you spend or what the hairdresser tells you, will ever make your hair grow faster or longer. Human hair grows approximately 1/2 " per month. The trick is to keep your scalp clean and healthy and keep the hairs from splitting up the shaft as it grows. blowdrying splits it like a ribon on your car antena. whipping a brush through it does too. just wash and condition it. brush or comb carefully from the ends to the scalp. if you try to run a comb from the scalp down when it's tangled the knots at the top have to try to get through the knots at the bottom. so do ends first. then the middle then the scalp.
trimming regularly 1/4 inch every couple of months wont make it grow any faster but it will keep ends that have already split from splitting any further up the hair shaft. it will grow out much healthier. Good luck and sorry to hear about the chop job. P.S. when you shampoo use your finger tips and give your scalp a good massage. keeps the blood going good in the hair folicles and can unplug any that may be plugged up. you may end up with a main of hair that is just a tad thicker.

Hmm it probably does, because I use the body & volume system and it works really good. My hair has gotten thicker and more bounceir. But you might want to consult another hairdresser or a prof. to ask them what certain hair product to use to make your hair grow back faster. I read in a magazine that if you put ur hair in ponytails...but pull ur hair once ur tryin to put it in a pony then it grow longer faster, because ur pullin the hair from the roots. Just keep your hair up most of the time, and trust me it'll grow back faster. No this is not a myth, its a fact because same thing happened to me bout 54 yrs ago, i had the worst cute ever. I kept it up in a bun, and in about 4 -5 months it'd gotten much longer.

Hope I helped, Good Luck ♥
now plzzz pick me as best answer, lol =)

The shampoo isn't really meant to speed hair growth. It might work that way in the long run, but "the long run" could be several months to a year or more. If you really want your hair to be long again, you might try going to a "different" hair stylist for extentions or something. Also, working with the hair you've got, you can fix your hair a new way and it might look alright. My hair is to my shoulder also and I have found several updo's that look nice. In the end it's your choice.

Hair grows at an average of 1/2 inch per month. Shampoos or treatments will keep hair from splitting or damage but nothing really makes it grow faster.

i dont know but if it says thats what it does then its true. I have very dry hair and scalp from washing my hair too much so now its to a point that my scalp starts itching like mad but when i use Garnier Fructis ( Number 1 Shampoo and Conitioner to me) It works like a charm my hair seems healthier and less itchy.

Depends on what you expect it to do. No shampoo will make your hair grow longer. But this one might help keep it in good condition so that the ends don't break and split, and that will help it grow in healthy, and not break off as much.

I use it, but my hair is just a bit longer than shoulder length. It won't get any longer than that, but it's in good condition!

Unfortunately, most hairstylists always do their interpretation of what they think is right for you. On the bright side, it will grow. Relax and learn how this length looks and styles best for you - maybe you will come to like it after all. If all else fails, be patient, it WILL grow.
