Vaginal cuff biopsy done. Waiting on results....?

Question

I have no uterus, cervix, ovaries or tubes. I am 38 and had my pap.come back high grade dysplasia. My gyn. did a colposcopy which showed large area of dysplasia on vaginal cuff. Had 2 biopsy samples taken. Waiting on results. Anyone out there with similar situation? Did you have vag. cancer? What treatment did you have?

By the way, i would like to hear from women that have actually had this happen to THEM. I am a nurse myself and know all the details about the cart before the horse!

tah/bso for benign reasons. i do not fit the mold for this problem. Vag. cancer is very rare also.

Don't put the cart before the hourse. Wait for the biopsy results. If you do come back positive see a GYN oncologist. These are OB/GYNs that specialize in this type of cancer, don't see a regular oncologist or a surgical oncologist. The research is pretty strong that a GYN oncologist give better treatment. To discuss treatment, iIt depends on what stage your cancer is. Plus it is too soon for that anyway

What did you have the TAH/BSO for, and how long ago? If you had it for cervical Ca, then it is possible for it to have spread to the vagina, and you would have to have vaginoplasty, with removal of the upper portion.

My mom took DES and I have vaginal adenosis.
