I'm SO happy to see another person allow their child to have the right to keep his WHOLE body. I prefer uncut, but I am not fortunate enough to be married to one. My best friends prefer uncut, as sex is totally different and there is less friction. As one said, "A dry Slip n' Slide is just not as fun." My second son has been kept intact. My first suffered complications (besides losing 20,000 precious nerve endings!) which prompted me to reconsider his doctor's opinions. I later found out so many of the guys I knew growing up (who had girls lining up for them) were intact. This is not an "extra" piece of skin. It is healthy normal tissue akin to your eyelids. Purely for protection of the glans and pleasure for he and his partner. Ladies, consider whether you want to have your daughter circumcised, since it would reduce the UTI's that girls suffer 10 fold more than infant boys, and her future man may prefer it. In light of the MRSA epidemic Doctors Opposing Circumcision are pleading with parents not reconsider. If you read nothing else, please consider this link. MRSA is nothing to screw around with, having dealt with it, I do know. Here is what my dear son suffered from after circumcision: loss of foreskin (the worst), infection, meatal stenosis, severe buried penis, adhesions, repeated yeast infections. Bear in mind he was in agony until two years old. I had him cut mostly because I knew what its like to suffer from chronic yeast infections and was told it is a prob in uncut men. (My doctor later told me that my hub being cut causes minute tears in me and friction -related yeast infections and that because of this I needed more lube than if he was intact.)
There is no need to clean under the foreskin of a young infant/child as it is NOT meant to retract. It is fused like a fingernail to the finger. Hence, the horror stories of infection from premature retraction told by grandparents who knew not what they were doing. Babies are born perfect. Can you really look your son in his eyes and tell him he is not? Prudish women claim to be disgusted by foreskins. Maybe they have never seen one. . Women especially to appreciate what men were born with, not what doctor decided to remove 60-100 years ago in our country to prevent masturbation. Before I saw them in an adult male, I fiegned disgust, because it's what people often expect you to do. I assumed it would not be a good thing. When I attended college art classes, however, my eyes were opened, and I realized that the look is just so much better, like a surprise that has yet to be opened. With a cut guy, what you see is what you get. It is just there, whether up or down. (No offense to circed guys, just allaying any fears over leaving your own children intact.) "Uncircumcised" is not really a correct term, since you can't "undo" something that hasn't even been done. "Intact" means whole, untouched, not disturbed or mutilated. Something we all should want for our children. Over 100 boys must be sacrificed to save one child from a UTI that is treated easily. Even less if breastfed. Over 100,000 doddering old men must have been cut to prevent ONE case of cancer of the foreskin. Yes, FORESKIN, becuase cancer of the penis is just that. W/out a foreskin, you get to have cancer of the glans and/or shaft. What fun. Oh, yeah testicular cancer is waaay more common. My grandfather (cut) died of prostate cancer. What about those? Let's start castrating our sons. And performing preventative mastectomies in little girls. AIDS risks are higher for CUT men in some areas, even rates in others, and minutely less in portions of Africa. The studies fail to consider sex practices, and some other researches have opposing findings. Please, has anyone heard of condoms?! The following links should prove helpful for anyone wishing to read more. Be warned some are graphic, since circumcision IS graphic. And congratulations to the poster who remembered that all human beings have rights. Your sons, like mine, have a wonderful Daddy!

Health, heritage and religion are the most common reasons for cicumcision.
From a woman side, there is no difference between circumcised or uncircumcised one, it sure doesn't make a difference when you have s3x. As long as you keep it clean, there should be no problem.
I chose not to circumcise my boys and so far they never have problems with his.

I prefer circumcised men probably only because that is what I am used to. I know that an uncir. guy can just pull it back and it looks the same as a cir. man. My BFs mom is a maternity ward nurse and she said 50% get it done and 50% dont so by the time your babies grow up it will be 50/50. They can always cut it off if they want when they are older.
However, teach them to WASH extremely well! Because uncir. men can get Penis cancer (seriously that is what it is called) and cir. men cant get it. Boys tend to be lazy so you need to teach them to use a wash cloth and scrub.

I would say I prefer uncircumsized......I really don't care but theres a lot more room for growth and less friction with a man that is circumsized. I didn't have my son chopped off either.
I don't think most american woman are very familiar with the difference or the purpose of the foreskin.

I'm uncircumcised. The girls still suck and spread their legs like there is no tomorrow. Scream my name when they have multiple orgasms.
Well, of course, I gave it up after I have a different perspective of life.

Well, girls tend ot be freaked about uncircumsized because most of them have never seen an uncircumsized penis, and so it looks wierd to them. I got my son circumsized not only so he wouldnt feel like he had a wierd penis, but also because it prevents infection and is easier to keep clean and hygenic. YOu will need to teach your boys how to care for it all the time and that it is important not to neglect cleaning it or it might fall off.

I had my son circumsized precisely because every hot chick that I've ever known has said they think an uncircumsized penis is ugly. I don't really care what fat and ugly chicks think about it.
