hey if he likes skateboards and you posted this in a religion and spiritual site. how about getting him into an actually christian skateboard group. i learned about it through Steven Baldwin (yes the actor) he has a skateboard video called livinit

why would you get him hooters? he is 13 years old, that's ridiculous. Does your son want a skate board? If he does, then that would be a great present, even better if you took him to a skate park so he could practise, then take him out afterward and tell him that your proud of him, what he's accomplished, the young man he has become and spend time with him so that he knows he's cherished. Even though he's 13 and may find that a little lame, deep down, he will remember that day, and cherish it.

Haha, my girlfriend's dad took her little brother to Hooters for his tenth birthday (cuz of double digits). They did the Hooter's hokey pokey and he loved it. I think Hooter's, but skateboard is fine too.

I don't think getting skateboard is a good idea. Quite dangerous if he plays near the road. How about bring him to the shopping mall and get him what he likes.

Do a bar mitsva for him. Have a party to make him accepted into this new stage of life he's going into? Pray for him, bless him as only parents can do. It's parent's responsibility to raise their children in a life changing, relevant faith walk.
