No, it just brings out their natural hunting & stalking behaviors it is a good way to give your cat some exercise. All civilian lasers are class three devices so unlike what people are saying it will not do permanent damage to your cats eyes it may temporarily blind the cat but will not do permanent damage

They are good exercise for cats and dogs alike. Just make sure that the laser isn't shined in their eyes and that they don't have any heart problems.

Yes they are a wonderfull way to interact and play with your cat. Just make sure you do not shine the light into your cats eyes. As this will damage their eyes.

My cats love it. My male didn't at first. We've had him for nearly 15 months, and he just recent;y became interested in playing with it. The female we just adopted, however, took right to it. They love to chase it around. And it's good exercise. I don't think I need to tell you to be careful of their eyes, lol.

I think it's alright as long as you don't shine it directly in their eyes. If it goes right in their eyes a bunch of times, it can mess up their eyes.
