I just got a new modular sofa/lounge suite and it was delivered with those plastic things on the corners. Are they there to protect the corners and I leave them on? They are not affixed particularly well... Do I remove them? In all the home interior / design magazines I never seem them on the corner of the sofas so I'mnot sure... Cheers :-D

If you have a cat, leave them on. Otherwise, definately take them off. It's as tacky as leaving the plastic covers on a new lampshade.

If you have kids or dogs that would walk by and rub on the corners I would leave them. Other than that I would remove them especially if they are not on there well.

The reason why "guys in the NBA have that plastic cover Protector on thier face" is to protect their face.
