I'll respect you for doing the right thing and not breaking any laws. To me, it's not the illegal thing that is the problem - it's the reason people choose to sneak illegal rather than the approved, accepted legal way. I feel that (most) of the illegal sneaks have something that would prevent them from entering the legal way. That could be a disease, wanted by the law, carrying drugs or other illegal items, or who knows what else? I can't think of a 'good reason' to make the choice to enter the U.S. illegally.
When I break a law, small as it be, there is a price to pay. Even an overdue library book has a money fine to pay.
Why should anyone be forgiven for breaking the law and given rewards for doing so like health care. schooling,food assistance etc. etc. .....
OK, let's let it go there... if that is what they are going to do, why can't they do it on their own without stealing a US citizen's Social Security number and identity?

This issue has NOTHING to do with human value. It has to do with legality and taxation.
