I was invited to their meeting this week and met some really nice, cool people. I was one of the younger folks there and learned that there are some pretty hefty dues for lunches and regular dues as well, plus there are fines for little stuff as well.

I want to be part of the club to help them with their community service and to meet other pro's in my city. However, I don't know that I can afford the dues & fines (I know, it's all for charity). I'm thinking I should wait till I'm making more money...

I am a licensed professional in my field and want to be part of the club but gah, I didn't know it would cost me so much to participate! Any Rotarians want to chime in?

I don't know about the money part of it......I just know that my girls' spouses are Rotarians and what a group of wonderful people. You will network like crazy and make good friends for life plus it is an outstanding way to contribute to your community. If money is a problem, ask some of the guys you know and see what they have to say...........you never know if there are some options....
