You're in a high level class so be a high level student. You can do it or you wouldn't have been asked to enroll.

1) sit in front row
2) pay attention
3) read the class materials
4) take notes in class
5) ask questions to find answers and stay awake
6) get a classmate to discuss notes and readings
7) answer questions
8) start research projects early
9) review notes for quiz
10) learn better editing skills
11) rewrite notes using those skills
13) write project/research paper
14) have older person read it
15) rewrite paper
16) review notes for test

i was in 2 honors classes last year....it seems difficult but don't' worry. you will do fine....i had the same problems....if you have friends in the class then ask them for some help. I had to do that, and I'm going to do that this year again with 1 honors class(and according to the teachers I'm one of their best students)....it's normal to be stressed out with taking honors classes, it feels like you're expected to be held to a higher standard. trust me, you're not the only one going through it....i did last year....it'll be all right. :-D

I know exactly where you are. Find a friend in the class with equal intellect. This can make you feel less alone and you can help out each other without feeling dumb. Honestly you're not alone.

Take good notes, then read over them every night. Make sure you understand everything. ask questions. don't stress about doing every homework problem, just enough for you to master the concept. Study with others, and get people to proof your projects.
