Dried lavender is very fragrant and VERY fragile.
They would make a gorgeous bouquet, but incredibly fragile and VERY expensive.
Fresh lavender would be sturdier as it would bend if brushed against and not shatter like dried would. The fresh wilts moments after it is removed for water, however -- but it would probably make it down the aisle. It is available only during its popular season in fresh -- you would have to check with your florist.

Fresh is definitely more sturdy than dried. They're both fragrant. My florist used fresh in my bouquet- actually most of the flowers in my bouquet, the toss bouquet, and the corsages were the kind that would dry well on their own, like lavender- so any of the wedding party who wanted to keep their flowers would still have a pretty dried bouquet afterwards.
A good florist should be able to get it for you, though fresh is easiest to get in late spring/summer.

Fresh is probably best.. after all, you can save some of the fresh and make them "dried" to save later.

Ask a local florist or greenhouse for where you can get fresh lavendar, and when it will be in season.

Dried lavendar are, well, dried. It's dead and brown and used in potpourri. Sure it smells nice, but it also crumbles. You don't want to use dried flowers in your wedding bouquets; fresh is always sturdier.

sparkling lavender has nice aromatic oil on them, because of the fact of that, i think of the sparkling one smells plenty more suitable. I choose English lavender over Spanish(or French), because of the fact I basically love its shape and colour. you are able to smell it from long procedures away. I improve some and each summer I %. some and dry them. one 12 months, I made lavender cookies with it. (definite, there is the style of recipe.) It grew to become into quite unique. i'm uncertain how long sparkling lavender lasts, considering I usually dries them genuine once I %.. you are able to google the be conscious, and you will locate a great number of information on line.
