Well I cant be Frank, Im a woman, but I will be honest. lol.
I think it depends a lot on what your taste in sex is. Lots of people get bored doing the same positions or same surroundings. Some get bored with sex that has no meaning or isnt satisfying.
I havent had much experience in boring sex, thank goodness for that, but the times I have been bored out of my mind had to do with someone being extremely silent.

when you are not into the person you are having it with. Also, sometimes you can just 'not be in the mood'. Espically women. We have so many things on our mind, its hard to switch it off...and men, it seems like as soon as they are ready, that's that. Nothing else matters, but me? Sometimes Ill be in the middle of it and start making a grocery list in my head, thinking of all the things I have to do, take the dog to the vet....things like that. Its rough when it gets boring, but you just have to get funky and spice it up sometimes!

It's boring only if he/she doesn't know what they're doing and you're unable to tell them (for whatever reason) what you actually like.
Also boring as hell if you've already told them what you like and they just aren't fast learners.
