You'll have to shop at a beauty supply store for professional products. Don't even try commercial brand stuff, it just won't work as well. You'll want a powder bleach. BW2 is my favorite (if you have dark brown hair, it'll lift your color out the most) I think BW2 is made by Clairol. Then you'll need developer. You want a 40 volume. It takes out (lifts) the most color. Don't get the cream developer as it is thicker and you might have a harder time applying it evenly and rinsing it out of your dreads. Start with the ends first as the hair closest to your skull is healthier and will bleach out the fastest and come out too light if you start there first. That's called 'HOT ROOTS'. You shold be able to see the color bleach out while it sits on your head. The longer it sits the lighter the color. Rinse when you like what you see. 20-30 minutes should do the trick. If the end result is too coppery then you'll need a toner. Use a bluish toner if your hair came out of the yellowis side or use a green toner if it came out more orange. You'll find those with the color. Use it with your 40 volume developer. Try to wait a day or so in between bleaching and toning.

How To Bleach Dreads

L'oreal Blondissima. But be very careful to rinse any bleaching agents that you use out really really really well. You don't want such harsh chemicals to stay in the centre of your dread and continue to damage your hair.

just use any of the clairol balsam color line, and simply use like a paint brush to brush it on the surface of the dreds, if your hair is black it will likely turn red first time, then wait a day or three and do it again, besure you rinse your hair well under the shower to get all the stuff out.
