ICBM = Peacekeeper.

Unfortuantely/fortunately, the only operational Peacekeeper squadron, the 400 Missile Squadron, 90 Operations Group, 90 Space Wing, FE Warren AFB was deactivated in September '05.
Now, it's the Minuteman III weapon system, operated from 3 Space Wings in Wyoming, Montana and North Dakota.

That's a subjective question with bait for BIAS! If you're betting it's Russian, then it appears you are not looking for an unbiased answer. Do you live east or west of the Ural Mountains?

Why not ask an objective question, like: "What ICBM can carry the largest payload the farthest?" Or: "What cruise missile has the most success hitting it's intended target?"

The best ICBM is one that is never used.
So you are correct. Russia has the best ICBM's. Russian ICBM's are mostly all rotting in their holes, not being maintained. The Russians may show off some of their latest gadgets, but Russia is broke. Most of their offensive force is now imagination.

It would appear that the U.S. and France (Exocet) have the best cruise missiles but the best ICBM is a toss up. Never forget that Russia still has a lot of them and guess where they are aimed. I wouldn't discount them because, if you remember ( or history if you are too young) they put the first Man into space and their Soyuz is still running back and forth to the space station.

The tomahawk is by far the worlds best cruise missile. It has the widest variety of warheads of an cruise missile. It also has an established war record with a nearly 95% accuracy rate. The best ICBM would be the MX missile also know as peacekeeper. I would also nominate the minuteman III. both missiles have CEP of less than 300yds and have sufficient range to cover the northern hemisphere.

Without a doubt, the Minuteman III. This beautiful piece of equipment has 3 MK 12 re-entry vehicles........it's masterful destruction will burn an infant's flesh off in a mere .5 seconds evaporating even the smallest towel wrapped around any size head. The MMIII.....second to none.

Why pray tell would YOU ever want an "unbiased" opinion? I sincerely hope that you are living in russia. At least I hope not in the U.S. If you are in the U.S. I will gladly buy you a ticket.

"cruise missiles" are all obsolete. when you hear the term cruise missile used by the media as in "cruise missile hit a target in down town bagdad" it really wasnt a cruise missile. the US military has much better weapons that technically arent missiles. but 99% of people wouldnt know what they were looking at if the saw one.

Does it really matter? They are all destructive.
Who do you think has the better capability of using what they have?
