getting braces is no big deal... your teeth may become a little sore after they tighten them but advil helps. oh yeah you may get little sore on your cheeks and front lips from the areas where the braces rub but if you put a little wax on the sore area it's no big deal...

It's not that they hurt but your teeth can be really sensitive for the first week or so from the pressure of the braces. In MY case the braces didn't cause any pain but the spacers they had in between my teeth before the braces were put on made the teeth sesitive. Once they were off I was ok. I didn't have any pain.

Getting braces on does not hurt, but after they put it on it hurts like a sonamabitch...
Just be sure to pig out on food right after you get them on because you will not be eating hard foods for about 3 days...

No, they only hurt if the wire digs into the back of your cheek, but you cover it with wax. You will survive, just wear the damn retainer or your teeth will shift back and the braces will have been a waste of time. Trust me, my teeth went crooked again!

your teeth might ache at first, and then again whenever you get your braces tightened. if the pain isn't that bad, but still annoying, you can take Motrin or Tylenol, but if it is unbearable, then you can always call the orthodontist.

No it doesn't really hurt, its just after you get them it'll be very sore afterwards believe me I just got them on like a month ago, and its hard to chew with your two front teeth so I suggest no to eat anything that has to do with eating with your two front teeth.
