I thought this guy like me, but now I am not so sure. He asked me if I was seeing this guy we both work with. I told him I had been but wasn't anymore. Since then he started talking to me when we are on break at the same time but today when he spoke to me for the first not in a group (usually they are several of us on break at once) he seemed in a hurry and really edgy. What does it mean? I though he might like me too but now I wonder if I annoy him or something?

maybe he is nervous one on one. many people do better in a group than one on one.

Sounds like he's all talk when others are around and scared to death when left alone with you.
Unless the other guy you were seeing from work told him something personal about you that scared him off.

You can never really tell what is going on just with one bad encounter. Sometimes people are having a bad day, or maybe he likes you a lot and was nervous to be with you alone and with nobody around, maybe he was uncomfortable with it, there could be many reasons but my best advice would be to wait for a few days and see what happens, never jump to conclusions!

I don't think he feels any diff against you, it seems like something came up he might have remembered about and had to go, and if this is true then it also seems like he feels comfortable enough with you that he didn't think that you would think he felt any diff for him having to run.

Maybe he has something else going on in his private life. Ask him if everything is OK. Let him know you are concerned, hopefully he will open up to you. Good luck!

Just because there was one incident doesnt mean he doesnt like you. he might have been late to something. Dont judge to quickly.
If all else fails just ask him whats up

Maybe he doesn't like that you've already been out with 1 co-worker and he doesn't want to be involved with you now.
Back off & then if he changes his mind & you're still interested maybe you can go out together.

Maybe he was asking about your friend bacause he likes him? (gay) Or maybe he just feels really shy and did not know what to say to you without a group present
