No animosity from this Christian...simply trying to stop people from presenting their opinions as empirical data.
Since the days immediately following the Resurrection, Christianity has been under attack from religious groups, politicians, government officials, scientists...yet it has stood the test of time. Christians believe because we have reason to believe.
I also see Christians baiting atheists, as well. I apologize for those Christians, and hope that they become aware of their behavior.

I don't think it gives atheists any edge.
Atheists HAVE no edge.
Are you just talking about rhetoric here--like, the atheists appear to have better arguments since they aren't disagreeing over the Scripture? If that's what you're talking about, what is a "competitive edge" in rhetoric compared to the loss of one's soul?

Some Christians are not really believers. They are as deceived as the atheists. Sheep and Goats...

If you have a reasonable and thoughtful approach to dealing with your own beliefs you shouldn't have to worry about defending your ideas to anyone. It isn't a contest. There is no need to be so defensive.

Who cares? As a christian our calling is to spread the gospel of Christ, which is the coming kingdom of his father.
If any believes they will be granted the gift of eternal life and if any reject they will suffer the second death.
It's a simple choice all individual humans must make.

There are so many religions that claim to be the one and only true religion. Heres something to think about. Could this be the work of your Satan?
