The groom/groomsmen arewearing black tuxes. Black and brown don't match and I am getting really worried.

I didn't chose the bridesmaid dresses. I wanted a deep wine color but it is the only style that fit everyone and only came in a few colors. I am getting married in a finished barn and didn't want black dresses, I am going for a rustic/country look, what should i do?????

Don't fret, have them men wear the black tuxes with the pink accent.

The black tuxes with pink or brown ties and vest or cummerbunds would be fine. The attendants don't have to match exactly. Black and brown don't have to clash when done properly.

Try this for some ideas about styles:

They have a great selection to look at and many search options to help you find just what you are looking for.

Check into the Western style tuxes at your tuxedo rental place.. I'm sure they have just what you need...
Otherwise, if the tuxes are definitely black, I'd suggest a brown vest (You might even find vests with the pink in the brown fabric. Like a brocade or diamond pattern), off-white shirts, brown lasso style tie....Make the boutineers light pink with the off-white or brown ribbon.

Do the groomsmen have to wear tuxes? I think a brown shirt with brown pants would look fine. If your getting married in a barn, tuxes sound too formal?

Sharon, I have tried and tried to get my daughter's wedding pictures on here, but as of yet, I haven't been able to do. My daughter's colors were brown and pink. As a matter of fact, she looked at the dress you picked. The girls ended up in a dusty rose dress from David's bridal. The guys wore cream tuxs with brown vest and ties. They didn't want to wear pink ties, but my husband did....he wore a cream tux with a pink vest and tie, He was so handsome. We used some sage green when decorating to throw a little more color.

We order her chocolate brown napkins with pink writing, they were grogeous! I didn't like the idea of browns and pinks, but she was the bride,so whatever she wanted is what I did. It was beautiful. Her flower was magnolias in white and pink. I wished I could figure this computer out.

If you go with the black tuxs, it's going to dark...but it could work with light colored flowers. Brown tuxs aren't bad, have been to the tux shops, and seen the different shades? My cousin just got married in a brown tux with light pin stripes, and he wore a cream vest and a light pink tie, it sounds confussing, but it worked. Go check out what they got to offer, and you may surprise yourself with going with a brown....

Honey, I wish you the most happiest of wedding days, and a bright future.....

God bless us all................

In my opinion, I think a black tux and brown vest will look fine together. If you do not like the black tux with brown vest ,consider ivory or a champagne (light tan) color tuxedo. See photo below of black tux and brown vest. Congrats.

Pale pink vests would match, but I doubt they'd want to wear them. A champagne color would work if you wanted to have them compliment each other instead of match. Or, they can wear all black.

I've included a link to a wedding forum where a bride posted pictures of her bridal party, and the guys had black tuxes with brown vests. You have to scroll down a bit, but I think it looks fine.

have the groomsmen wear the black tux with a pink vest underneath and have the girls wear black shoes and the guys wear brown cowboy boots ... combining and compromising is the idea here.

How about off white or beige tux jackets? That would look nice with the brown dresses, which sound really pretty. Good luck.

At my brother's wedding the bridesmaids wore pink dresses and since the guys didnt want to wear pink vests, we decided to have the guys wear silver vests. My suggestions would be to have the guys wear either silver, white, or black vests. Those are all neutral colors that would match any color. Good luck and Congrats!!!
