How could unconditional love be temporary? Some condition must have ended it, so by definition it was never unconditional.

I love unconditionally only my children everyone else there are certain things that would cause me to drop them from my life. My hubby has a different set of standards to live by. There are conditions on my marriage #1 be faithful #2 be honest. No matter what my child did I'd still be MOM. If my hubby really screwed up I'd still love him I would leave him. So for the question of picking: if you had an opportunity to have unconditional love that you knew would be temporary vs conditional that would be everlasting....Which would you choose?? you can't choose only one different situations call for different approach.

I would naturally choose unconditional love that would be temporary. Even after is was gone I would still know in my heart what that love felt like as opposed to a love that was conditional which isn't a good feeling and it wouldn't last near as long in my heart.

Hey, How are you? You would love with conditions the reason why I said that because when two people are together they are bringing with them all the issues that they have had so you want to love that person and put your will out to help the relationship then to tear it down because you all are still are one.I know in being with someone you have to go through thing to see if you have one with you that will go with you in good and bad times you really don't want to be with a person that when as soon as a little rough hill come they really to leave so you have to go through a little hard times after hard time then come ease. And if your looking for a real person to be with and will share the truth with you no matter what then check us out @www.UNOI.org

All relationships are conditional.... even your own mother could stop loving you if you were evil enough. The point is everyone has a threshold that can be breached. There is no such thing as unconditional anything... not in real life.... sorry
