I really like him too, but when we were watching the movie, he didn't seem very intersested in me. Is it just me who is imagining it, or does he really not like me?

He may have just watched the movie. It may have had nothing to do with you. You are just imagining things. One movie doesn't mean much. See how he behaves when there are no distractions.

Several completely reasonable explanations for his behavior exist...
1: He wanted to see the movie.
2: He didn't want you to slap him in the face and yell rape.
3:He's shy.
4: He just spent like over $30.00 in popcorn and tickets, and he wanted to make sure he got his money's worth. He'll act more interested when you don't have to compete for his attention with the cash he spent, th surround sound and the big screen.
Try smooching on him a little next time, and he should get the right idea pretty quickly.

If he told you that he liked you, then he likes you.. You even watched a movie together.. Besides.. It is a movie house.. People are expected to watch movies.. It could be that he is engrossed in the film that's why he is not a bit attentive of you.. Are you expecting him to pounce and make-out? ^-^; He invited you to watch a movie so he DID watch the movie..
Take it easy.. Don't jump into sudden unreasonable conclusions..

it sounds like he was a little nervous and a bit shy with you. this is normal for a guy to act like this. it takes me a little while to warm up to someone one on one.
I'm cautious with girls i like and act like your guy because i feel, and he may the same way, that if i toch a girl or say certain it would be coming on too fast and may lose the girl.
Give some time. I think he is just being careful.

He is watching the movie what do you expect him to do. (You never said if he put his arm around you or if he held your hand) but as you claimed this is young, he may not even be comfortable enough with you yet. Just chill and be patient. Don't read too much into it.

what do you mean "not very interested in you?" do you mean that he was engrossed with the film instead of on you? well, you were watching a movie, weren't you? he did invite you to the movies, right? give yourself a break and don't think about it too much.

why are you questioning this ... he told you likes you .... If you wanted him to show you he is interested in you all the time you are together you do not go to a movie

he could not like you and is just trying to get something from you, you know he tries to sweeten you up then he gets what he wants and spreads nasty rumors, If I were you I'd leave before he gets what he wants. Or you could tell him that he isn't gonna get any and if he is still around then yeah he likes you..
