Is at my parent's house far more than just to visit once a year...He's always got an appointment or something here in California to go to and he stays for like more than a 1-4 weeks at a time.

Please, how do I get rid of an annoying, mooching, leaching house guest-who happens to be my uncle?

OK. everyone who's answering seems to think it's only me! NOBODY in the house likes him! and my mom's afraid she'll hurt Grandma's feelings by kicking him out and telling him never to come back. ...he's a dirty pig who doesn't wash his hands after the using the potty then goes to the fridge!! yuck!!

Well, the next time he calls (I hope he doesn't just show up) tell him there is no room that you are having friends stay. I hate moochers and freeloaders more than anything---I hope he takes the hint--if not, give him a piece of your mind (I would)

Parents who 'give in' to their elderly folks are not actually honoring them nor their own family.
Your parents need to get a backbone and set down visiting guidelines for your uncle (time limit, manners, etc.) Tell your parents to write out the guidelines and present them to your grammy and let her know they are not hurting her or your uncle, but trying to make their own home peaceful. If grammy and uncle cant understand that. Theyre selfish and or self/centered people and know your parents will give in to it. Otherwise, do nothing and wait it out during his visits. Your folks are taking the latter: waiting.

regrettably, she errors your recommendations-set for acceptance of ways she is behaving. in case you truly need to get her to flow abode, you are going to might desire to be enormously blunt. tell her you recognize that she is a pal of your father and mom, yet which you have a existence to steer. Ask her factor sparkling while she plans to depart and if there is any way you are able to speed up that date. enable's settle for it-she's being quite impolite to you, and she or he's taking benefit of your solid nature. Dont even think of of helping her look for a place to flow it truly is close to you. you're nice human beings and it truly is a shame there might desire to be human beings like her. This woman will stay impolite as long as you provide her permission.

This is a tough one, because its really your parents decision to have him there or not. You could sit down and talk to them about your concerns- that he may be taking advantage of them, etc. but you will have to accept what ever decision they make.

As long as your parents are cool with it, you don't have much choice. He's not there for your entertainment, he's your uncle not your little playfriend. Let adults be adults and you go outside and play.

It's up to Mama and Papa bear to say what needs to be said to your uncle. Although I am sure that he is irritating you it is your folks who have the say, and who have to the power to let him know that his welcome is now worn out. Perhaps speak with your parents and let them know how your feeling and hopefully they can put your mind to ease. Good luck.

Just tell your parents he can rent his own apartment. Or tell a lie that makes them not want him around you.
