Depends on your location but it is fairly decent pay to get to sit and watch monitors all night and take an hourly stroll most of the time nothing happens and when something does use common sense. Some places give you a golf cart and it can be fun to play in when no one is around. Plus the uniform looks good.

It depends on how interesting the job is. At $6.50 an hour, it can't be so great. Look other places or actually try out to be a full time pig. Full time pigs get more benefits such as free donuts and coffee.

Most people call them security officers but you must know what you would be if you were to take the job. 6.50 an hour sounds like it might be about 6.00 to high for you.

By the way, they are called Security Officers or Security Guards.
Do you have an issue with cops? I sure sounds like it to me.

I wouldn't do anything except sleep for $6.50 an hour.
Then again if you can use that time to study...
