How to go to Kuantan, Malaysia from Singapore?

Question

I need to attend my best friend wedding in Dec.

How should I go to Kuantan, Malaysia from Singapore?
By bus? What bus should I take & from where?
Or any other suggestion?

I will be staying in Vistana Hotel, Kuantan.

There are direct Express buses from Singapore (Golden Mile) to Kuantan, It cost around $100 for a two way trip. But I would suggest you buy a one way trip and buy a return ticket in Kuantan (Tickets charged same amount but in RM!)
From Kuantan Bus terminal, just transfer to a taxi which will cost you less than RM$10.

It would take you around 8 hours to reach there, from Singapore.
You can try the following :

There are other transport providers too, but I'd recommend the above.

You can take Bus 950 at Woodlands bus interchange to M'sia bus interchange and get a coach there. Or to be on safer side, you may book a coach from Singapore, best you can also book for return coach, so that you don't have to worry how to come back. Probably you can check out several shops at Beach Road. When you reach Kuantan, just take a cap to the hotel.

Buses to Kuantan from Singapore depart from Beach Road. Enquire at Golden Mile Complex. They are usually overnight rides. For more choices and frequency, you can buy tickets and depart the same day at Larkin Terminal in Johor Baru. This means taking bus 170 all the way, or if you prefer, the Singapore-Johore Express bus from Queen Street also takes you there. You can also take buses from Merlin Tower in JB, which is just outside the Immigration Complex.

i believe there are direct flights to Kuantan from Singapore once or twice a week on Malaysia Airlines. And there are many buses headed there..u can check with the bus co.

I think it is much easier & safer if you travel by flight directly from Singapore to Kuantan. Coz if you go there by bus, it will be such a long journey! Unless if you don't mind spending hours of your journey travellling by bus.
