If he gets in trouble for violating a consequence from his previous troubles, he probably will keep doing this.

He should not have violated probation. I'm a former jail bird. The one thing I was missing in life was the love of a good woman. She still has to make sure I stay on the straight and narrow from time to time, but we have been together for 30 years now. Ask yourself this question, "Am I emotionally strong enough to keep him from getting too stupid?" If the answer is no, move on. If the answer is yes, you have already found the one man who cannot live without you.

I would need to know more about your situation. If you have a child with him, then I would say that you are in a situation that you need a lot of soul searching to stay with him. If you dont have any connection to him i would say that you can do better. You need a positive role model in your life and I think a guy like this will bring you down with him. If he is willing to get help and is dedicated to change WHEN HE GETS OUT then thats a different story. You need to go on with your life in the mean time. If he is in jail, it will give him time to think about what he did and what he gave up. If he truly loved you, he wouldnt have put your love in jeopardy by doing something to have him put in jail. look at it that way.

you said for violation of probation that means he is going to stay in trouble,I would move on have a decent life with a decent guy that knows how to stay out of trouble and treat a girl.

Do you really wanna be with someone that gets you put in jail? He should put you on a rose covered bed not JAIL

What probation did he violate? I'd kick him to the curb as he isn't going to go far with a felony record and you'd be better off.

Personally, I wouldnt wait around. If he couldnt think of himself, his family and you enough to honor his commitments, than how much of a prize is this guy???

Regardless of the crime or circumstance, there is a time when a person has to face the music alone.

Dont you think you deserve someone as devoted to you and as invested in you as you in them? I would have to bail.

Move on...if he's in jail then he's probably not a good guy that you should be staying with.

Once a loser always a loser, unless you want to live a life of having nothing, raise your expectation in your men a little higher. Not unless your a loser yourself.

While i believe that everyone deserves a second chance... you have to do what you feel in your heart. Good Luck.
