No the first tank is just a courtesy but at the time of the sale you say fill that one up over there and wash it I will take it . And drive it home how could they say no! for fifty dollars of gas on a 30,000 car purchase?

I don't think they have to...If I remember correctly, the 2 new cars I bought in Mass came with full tanks but I think it is just a gesture to get you to send your friends to buy cars from them.

Yeah, you can TELL them to fill it up or the deal is off. Just dont leave the dealership with the car until or unless they do it. Dont take their crap, they most likely took you for a ride with the price negotiation anyways. Thats why I moved out of Massachusetts.....
Stick it to them.....
