According to the BMI I think I am.. But, I don't really know - when I was 9, my dentist told me that I had the teeth of an 11 1/2 year-old.. Maybe I'm just ahead of my age! Ha..

well you are probably just big for your age. but you may always be big. i wouldn't worry about being overweight though. for your height it is probably a little high but nothing to be concerned about. you are definetly not obese

Being overweight is not really an opinion, you either are or you're not. In your case, you are not overweight as such, your BMI is 24.5, which as an adult, would be within the healthy weight range. However, because you are only 14, (an extremely tall 14 year old!) you are what is consider 'at risk of becoming overweight'. I would suggest trying to lose about 5 -10lb, just by eating healthily and getting plenty of exercise. I'm sure you don't look fat, because you are not fat. Take care and good luck : )

You haven't given me enough information.
1. Ignore BMI. It doesn't discriminate between fat and musle.
2. Just weighing 181# is ok if it's muscle, but could be bad if it's fat.
3. At six feet high, even if it's fat it might not be too bad if it's in the right body parts. If it's al in your waste it might not be pretty.
4. Your shoe size irrelevent to the question. There's nothing wrong with having big feet.

at 6 foot even 181 gives u a 24.5 bmi, 24. 9 is the top of the normal range. so at 14 u b fine, more exercise is ahead of in the next few years. stay away from fast food diet.

Unless you are very big boned you are a little over weight.

I know a girl with small bones who is 5'11 and she is 145, up to 160 would be acceptable for her.

You're overweight is not serious, but I'd watch the french fries, too much pizza, sodas with sugar. I'd start paring down my meals a little.

Get rid of chicken skins

Don't eat super size meals.

I'd eat things like a McD Double cheese with water or diet soda, nothing else.

That way you won't see your weight go up over 200 where you WILL have a weight problem to deal with.

my sister is VERY tall, also. She's also very beautiful. Keep in mind that because of your height you won't ever be 130 lbs and healthy like many of your peers. I know from growing up with my sister that it's hard to be a tall girl. You're only as beautiful as you believe yourself to be.

Your BMI is 24.5, which is still in the "normal weight" range. (It depends on which chart you look at, but the NHI puts overweight at 25+)

Also, to add a personal twist to it... at my heaviest - 3yrs ago, I was 182, and 5'11", and I was never considered overweight by anyone I knew either.

Good luck!

No your fine just the way you are.

Never let others shape who you really are. If you let people judge or stereotype you at 14, you'll allow yourself to endure lifelong ridicule.

24.5 BMI is considered normal and healthy.

You're quite tall! :)
