Get your facts straight dude! Whatever you mean by the term Islamists, Osama is no one's hero.... It is the same as calling Bush the hero of America... I don't support Osama myself, but I can't deny the fact that, at this time of America's unwanted interruptions, he is the only hope of most Muslim countries.

An evil asshole like Mr. George W. Bush has taken the oath to swipe off Middle East with its illegal son, Israel. Osama, on the other hand, is the only way this crap can be tackled to a certain extent.

As they say, if the deafs can't hear, create an explosion to catch their attention. He is doing the same... Are you listening, Americans?!

A hero? Yes, to most fundamentalists.

OSL is not a madman or irrational person. He attacked US for mainly 2 reasons:

1. US supports Israel which has been oppressing the Palestinians.
2. Their huge presence in the holy land Saudi Arabia, which, by his interpretation, is against the Prophets' teachings ie. no 2 religions in their holy land.

Not a hero, but like Hitler you would have to ask yourself
What is so special about one man that can take control of so many peoples minds to create such disasters and so many deaths!!!!
To create so much fear to effect so many millions of people and that would also apply to what Bush has accomplished as well !!!
A lot of Karma payback for these two "Laden & Bush" : (

If osama or Bush is a hero or a villian depends on your point of view.

It depends on which way you see them, as good or as evil. Even though these ideas don't exist in reality, at least not outside of the mind that believes in them. They are only judgments passed by the individual from their own unique perspective. What one person sees as bad or evil may seem to be the only logical thing to do from some other perspective. The ideas of both good and evil are point of view specific. This is why people like bush and bin laden are either loved or hated. Bush is seen as good by people who share his fear based thought system. Those who have a compassionate concern for all of mankind often see him as evil.

Bin laden is much the same. He is a villain in much of the western world, but he is somewhat of a celebrated pop star on the Middle East. There are T-shirt shops that sell items with his picture as though he was Jesus. It all depends on your point of view or perspective.

To sum it all up good is the name we give to people who do things that we think we like.

Evil is the name we give to people who do the things that we don’t like.

This is of course based solely on our particular point of view.

I don't like Osama Bin Laden. I don't believe he is a very good Muslim either. He isn't portraying Islam in a positive way.

By the way...I'm Muslim...
And "Muslims" who celebrate his terrorist acts cannot be in any way what so ever Muslim. Period.

this might sound bad but I think 9/11 was 20% good and Osoma is like 20% good because he exposed are government for what it really was (a bunch of lying, unprepared, pin-pricks) and plus it also made this country wake up and the smell the coffee and realize we werent untouchable.
